At Farah Khan’s birthday bash, it was Katrina Kaif’s rather strange style of posing that left everyone guessing and bemused. Dressed in white ganjis and jeans, Katrina arrived in her car sans beau Ranbir Kapoor. The actress who is not exactly among the most affable celebrity pleasantly surprised shutterbugs by flashing a radiant smile that of course spoke volumes about her happiness.
What however didn’t go unnoticed is the way she kept her left palm firmly placed in her jeans pocket at all times. As long as she faced the media, Katrina consciously covered her palm not even for once letting it loose for the media. Now is that an engagement ring Katrina tried hiding from the ‘pesky’ media? The actress naturally didn’t clarify anything at all and carefully evaded reporters. She was seen leaving Farah’s party around 4am.
Grapevine holds it that Ranbir and Katrina indeed got engaged during their recent trip to London where they rang in the New Year together. Sources in the know suggest that ringing in the New Year was not top priority in London this time around for Ranbir-Katrina and it was engagement instead which was on cards. Ranbir’s parents, too, are believed to have flown down to see their son exchange rings with Katrina in a very private ceremony attended by close family friends.
Well, given Katrina’s mannerisms yesterday, it does look like an engagement of sorts may have possibly happened as rumour holds it. Or maybe we should wait till we get a good look at Ranbir’s right fingers too!
