Katrina Kaif, who is currently in Kashmir to shoot for Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’, has been provided with extremely tight security. The actress, who is in Srinagar for four days has a three-tier security with her consisting of AK-47 wielding personnel. Reportedly, on the day that Katrina arrived for her first day of shoot at Nishat Bagh on Friday, no other cars were allowed inside the garden, which was swarming with CRPF personnel and members of J&K police. As reported by Mumbai Mirror, the situation got slightly tense when an accidental fire broke out on the sets, engulfing a production unit tent. As soon as this happened, Katrina was rushed to her tent, which also happens to be her vanity van. Aditya Roy Kapur, who is also in Kashmir to shoot for the film, raced to the sets to check on his co-star. ‘Fitoor’ also stars veteran actress, Rekha. -

Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor keeps Ranbir-Katrina apart!

They may be spending time together in their new love nest but now Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor won’t be allowed to meet each other for quite a while. Yes, the duo will be separated for a few days and even if they desire, they won’t be allowed to convene.

The entire cast and team of ‘Fitoor’ is soon going to leave for Kashmir for shooting. Well, we all know how dedicated Abhishek Kapoor is towards his profession. Alike him, Ranbir and Katrina are no less when it comes to their professional commitments.
While Katrina is busy shooting ‘Fitoor’, we think Ranbir doesn’t need much to worry about her since her co-star Aditya is a good pal of his. Above all it’s just a matter of few days.

Director Abhishek Kapoor is a disciplinarian when it comes to work. It is said that the filmmaker who is currently shooting 'Fitoor' in Kashmir has given strict instructions to his leading lady, Katrina Kaif. And that is not to meet her beau Ranbir Kapoor on the film sets.

According to sources, Abhishek wants to maintain the serious aura of the film and the feel. So he didn't want any of his actors get distracted while shooting. Besides, Abhishek is keen to wrap the shoot as soon as possible. Hence he didn't want Ranbir to drop in to meet his lady love.

The lovey-dovey couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, who leave no opportunity to spend quality time with each other, have been barred from meeting.
Really? Well yes...the latest buzz has that Kai Po Che director Abhishek Kapoor is determined to shoot the schedule for upcoming film Fitoor smoothly.

According to reports, the director has told the film's crew to focus on work and politely asked actor Ranbir Kapoor to abstain from visiting the film's sets in Kashmir to meet Katrina.
The filmmaker is already in Kashmir. He's shot the first schedule of the film with the Fitoor leading man Aditya Roy Kapur and veteran actress Rekha.

'Fitoor' is the Bollywood adaptation of author Charles Dickens' book 'Great Expectations' which has been already made into a film in Hollywood.

Are Bollywood Stars Ranbir Kapoor And Katrina Kaif Engaged?

Kaif was recently spotted walking with her left hand in her pocket after attended Farah Khan's 50th birthday party, rising the engagement rumors. She apparently wanted to hide her ring from the photographers, but they allegedly managed to get a glimpse of her big shiny ring during her Umang performances on Friday night.
Khan told Bollywood Gossip, "I swear, Katrina didn't shake hands with me. So I couldn't notice her palm. She instead hugged me and I didn't notice anything on her neck."
"I didn't get the time to check her hand later as I was busy dancing," continued Khan.
Other reports are stating that the engagement was just a prank and pretended to be engaged after joking about the thought of marriage.
Whether Kaif and Kapoor are serious about their engagement or not, some can't help but to speculate that the rumors are true.
"She will wear an engagement ring when the time is ready," said a source to Bollywood Life. "And it will be for the world to see. She don't just randomly attend some event wearing it. There is a plan in place in the Kapoor family as far as Ranbir and Katrina and it will be known to everyone in due time."
The source addd that Kapoor and Kaif are in fact engaged and exchanged rings, but want to keep it a secret until they are ready to announce it.
However, Kaif's rep previously dismissed the reports and stated that they did not get engaged during their holiday trip to London in a private event. The actor's parents, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor was rumored to have joined in on the private affair and flew in to London to see their son get engaged.

Rubbishing the engagement rumor, Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif clarified that she is not engaged to Ranbir Kapoor. She clarified that she has enjoyed vacation with her family in London and now again back to work for an eventful New Year. She also opens her heart about her newborn niece, with whom she had a great time.
Katrina said, "I had a wonderful holiday, a wonderful New Year and it was very special. That's all you're getting out of me."
After returning from holiday, Katrina Kaif was spotted with a huge diamond ring which sparked the rumor of her engagement. It is rumoured that keeping the wish of Kat’s mother, Ranbir put a ring on Kat’s finger and sealed their relationship. In November last year, the lovebirds moved in together.

Katrina denied the engagement bit but ensured to admit having a 'very special New Year'.
But when a leading news channel asked Katrina about her New year holidays, she said, "I had a wonderful holiday, a wonderful New Year and it was very special. That's all you're getting out of me."

 

 

However, when the channel slyly hinted about the 'engagement' rumours, Katrina said, "There are no extra special things, if that's what you are trying to insinuate, but I had a lot of fun."

PHANTOM is a political thriller that unfolds across various countries around the world. The plot revolves around protagonist Daniyal, whose journey to seek justice takes him from India to Europe, America and the volatile Middle East. However, he finds out that in a mission like this, there is always a price to pay, in this case, a very personal price.

Katrina Kaif Talks About Engagement Rumours and Babies

It's been a while since we've caught up with actress Katrina Kaif. While there has been much speculation over Katrina's personal life in the interim, there was just one question we were dying to ask her. How did she "ring" in the New Year, especially with engagement rumours flying thick and fast?

After turning a pretty shade of pink, Katrina carefully chose her words before saying, "I had a wonderful holiday, a wonderful New Year and it was very special. That's all you're getting out of me."

Katrina was spotted wearing a massive diamond ring on her finger at a concert on January 10, fuelling rumours that she was engaged to actor Ranbir Kapoor, who she is now sharing an apartment with.

Katrina, however, seemed more at ease once she began gushing over her sister's new baby. We couldn't help but ask if Katrina is feeling broody as well.

"Not feeling broody, as such. Just happy to see my sister have such a beautiful kid," she said. And as for herself, Katrina tried to casually say, "God willing, one day when the time is right."

Love is clearly agreeing with Katrina though. The actor has lost a fair bit of weight and happily tells us she's probably one of the few people who can come back lighter after a holiday. Judging from that glow, we're guessing that's she lighter in spirit as well.

Katrina Kaif not engaged to Ranbir Kapoor, clarifies spokesperson

Did Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif get engaged secretly in London on December 30? The actress’s spokesperson clarifies.

It was being said that Katrina and Ranbir got engaged in London in the presence of Katrina’s family members late last month. And now, just a few days back, Katrina Kaif was seen at Umang Mumbai Police show wearing a big rock on her ring finger, further fueling the rumour of her engagement.

But now, Katrina’s spokesperson has poured cold water over all the hot talk of her engagement with Ranbir Kapoor.

“This is to clarify that Katrina did not get engaged in a secret ceremony in London. There is absolutely no truth to the rumours,” says the spokesperson.

Katrina Kaif Has a Ring on Her Finger, is She Engaged to Ranbir Kapoor?

Last year. There were reports of actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif secretly getting engaged in London, and now a ring spotted on Katrina's finger adds weight to the rumours.

The Bang Bang star was spotted dancing to Chikni Chameli at the annual Umang Mumbai Police Show 2015 held on January 10.

Saif Ali Khan And Katrina Kaif’s Phantom Release Date Out

Finally the release date of Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif’s much anticipated film ‘Phantom’ is out. The film which was originally set to release on October 2014, will now hit the theatres August 28 this year.

Earlier Saif and Katrina’s ‘Phantom’ was rumoured to release on April 03.

Directed by Kabir Khan, action-thriller-drama film ‘Phantom’ is based on post 26/11 Mumbai attacks and global terrorism. In the film, Saif is playing a spy, whereas Katrina Kaif plays a character of a photojournalist. The film’s shooting took place in several parts of the world such as Turkey, Beirut, Canada, Mumbai, Kashmir and Punjab.

There are a lot of action scenes in the film. Apparently, the actress Katrina Kaif has done some action stunts herself and did not use any body double. Well, that’s another reason to be excited about ‘Phantom’, first reason being that the two actors, Saif and Katrina will be sharing the screen space with each other for the first time.

At Farah Khan’s birthday bash, it was Katrina Kaif’s rather strange style of posing that left everyone guessing and bemused. Now, this is an interesting piece of goss. According to TOI, the two lovers exchanged rings in front of Katrina Kaif’s family in London on December 30.

A source is quoted as saying by TOI, “Katrina was in London to celebrate Christmas with her family. Ranbir joined her soon after. In the presence of a chosen few friends and Katrina's family, the two apparently exchanged rings. Apparently, arrangements about the guests' pick and drop, were done in advance.”

The source goes on to add that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif plan to tie the knot in May this year.

The two apparently want to see off their work before taking the marital plunge. They have already started living in together at Ranbir’s Carter Road home in Bandra. The duo has also hosted a party for their Bollywood friends there.

Last year, when images of the pair holidaying in Spanish created quite a frenzy, we had spotted Ayan with them.

In fact, a week earlier the media had caught Ranbir and Ayan heading to the airport (presumably) to fly out for their New York holiday.

According to an entertainment website in India, the couple were spotted shopping after being going "unnoticed for a week".

Although the fan was unable to click the couple together, he managed to get two pictures - one with Ranbir, and the other with Katrina and Ayan.

The website reveals that Katrina was "camera shy" and "it was tough to capture the couple in the same frame".

It was reported that the trio welcomed the new year at a grand party in New York’s Standard hotel, which showcased live acts by famed singer Rita Ora.

Zareen Khan fed up of Katrina Kaif!

Many girls may take pride when their looks are compared to Katrina Kaif’s looks, but Zareen Khan is fed up of such comparisons. She has nothing against Katrina, but she feels comparisons with Katrina, ruined her career prospects. “Katrina is a beautiful person and probably, if I weren’t in the same field as her, I’d be flattered by all the comparisons,” says Zarine Khan.

But now, she wants to start this brand new year with a wish: people stop calling her a Katrina Kaif lookalike. “In 2015, I surely do not want to be compared to Katrina! With all due respect to her, I cannot answer questions like, ‘how do you feel being compared to Katrina Kaif’! I don’t know what to say to this anymore,” says Zareen Khan, who hit headlines even before her debut film hit screens in 2010.

Yes, she had a dream debut alongside actor Salman Khan in Veer, but what made news was her resemblance to Salman’s ex, actor Katrina Kaif. And she is still asked questions on that. Fed up of comparisons, Zareen hopes those to leave those comparisons with Katrina behind. “In 2015, I hope people stop comparing me to Katrina,” says the Housefull 2 actor, who feels the comparisons affected her career.

“Even before my film was released, people started saying that the Veer heroine looks like so and so. And, the audience is such that they belive with what they are fed. People didn’t even give me a chance. I guess the whole comparison with Katrina Kaif affected my career. I was a newcomer and even before the film actually released, people pitted me against a leading Bollywood actor, Katrina Kaif. That was unair,” says Zareen, who is set to portray a journalist in her upcoming film Nonsense. This comedy film also stars actors Sharman Joshi and Vir Das.

First Look of Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif's 'Jagga Jasoos' Revealed

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer "Jagga Jasoos" has been in the news ever since the real life couple have been paired on-screen after their successful film " Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani" (2009).

Now, the makers have released the first look of the film. In the picture, Kapoor, who plays the role of a detective, is seen sporting a geeky look with a pair of glasses. Carrying a bag pack still seems to be a part of an adventure.
"Jagga Jasoos" is a detective drama, which revolves around father-son relationship. In the film, the "Barfi" star is on a mission to search his missing father, played by Govinda. Kaif, on the other hand, plays the role of Kapoor's love interest in the film.
A few days ago, another look from "Jagga Jasoos" made its way to the Internet. In the poster, the lead pair is seen in spectacles. However, whether the picture is a still from the film or a fan-made poster, remains unclear.
Touted as a musical film, "Jagga Jasoos" will reportedly have Kapoor and Kaif communicate mostly through songs and is said have around 20 songs, composed by music maestro Pritam.
Directed by Anurag Basu of "Barfi" fame, the film has been shot at several locations including South Africa, India (Mumbai) and Thailand.

The film was earlier supposed to release in May but has been postponed to October due to the post-production work.

Ranbir Kapoor And Katrina Kaif Partying In New York

So here it is! Photo of Katrina Kaif and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor partying in New York for New Year’s eve. The couple have been in New York since a week, but were nowhere to be found by the paparazzi.

Finally, this picture of them hanging out with Director friend Ayan Mukerji is now circulating in social media networks. Although they did not take any snaps together, photos of Katrina and Ayan with a fan, and a photo of Ranbir with the same fan was taken.

Katrina Kaif who was vacationing with her siblings and Mother during Christmas in London, had flown to New York for celebrating New Year with lover Ranbir Kapoor.
Reportedly, their party was taking place at the Standard Hotel, New York, where singer Rita Ora was performing live.

We hope to see more of this lovely, yet reserved couple on screen as well as off screen in the year of 2015.

Katrina Kaif is a real person and not pretentious: Anushka Sharma

Actress Anushka Sharma says Katrina Kaif is her favourite co-star.

Actress Anushka Sharma, who has worked with various actresses in the past, says Katrina Kaif is her favourite co-star and she doesn’t believe in the concept of cat-fights in Bollywood.

"As an actress, we need to kill those cat-fight things. I called Kangana (Ranaut) when I watched 'Queen', I called Deepika (Padukone) after 'Cocktail'. I was like more than excited about it.

"Katrina is my favorite co-star because I had such a good relationship with her. She is a real person and not pretentious. I had a great time working with her (in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'). I know she feels happy for me," she said.

Anushka Sharma, who is currently enjoying the success of "P.K., says she is very satisfied with her career graph as an actress and says she doesn't like falling into brackets and categories.

Asked if she is happy with whatever she has achieved so far, Anushka said: "I won't lead my life little bit if I was not happy. I know what I want to do and I don't like falling into brackets and categories."

"I didn't want to do too many films. Whatever I have done, I have done best. People give advices but I do what I feel is right. I am very satisfied right now. I wanted to work in good films and good directors and i think my career graph is going well," she added.
