Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma or Deepika Padukone – Who looks best opposite Ranbir Kapoor?

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who turns 33 on 28 September, is set to entertain movie buffs with three upcoming projects.

After back-to-back flops, the Kapoor lad seems to be back on track. He will be seen sharing screen space with the top three actresses of Bollywood – Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the upcoming projects.

This year, Ranbir will appear with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone in Imtiaz Ali's "Tamasha", which will hit theatres on 27 November.

The trailer of the film is expected to be released on Tuesday (22 September), a week before his birthday. The audience is too eager to watch the duo as they have captured hearts whenever they have appeared on screen together.

Apart from "Tamasha", Ranbir and Deepika also created magic with their on-screen chemistry in "Bachna Ae Haseeno" (2008) and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (2013).

Though they are not a couple in real life now, their fans still love to watch them together.

Though Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet" didn't do as well at the box office as expected, the on-screenjodi of Ranbir and Anushka was appreciated by the audience. The chemistry between the two impressed Karan Johar, who also featured in the film, the most.

Ranbir Kapoor will bounce back: Katrina Kaif

Though some of his films have flopped, but there is no denying the fact that Ranbir Kapoor is still among the A-listers in Bollywood. His ­girlfriend and co-actor in Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos says that Kapoor is “dedicated, passionate and focused” and he is sure to bounce back. “His movies not doing well is a sad thing. But he gives his heart and soul to his films. I know it pains him deeply that he is not able to live up to the ­expectations and satisfy his audience,” Katrina says. “He loves his audience ... he wants people to love his films... he wants that ­acceptance from ­the ­audience. So all this is ­hurtful to him,” she adds.

Ranbir’s last few films — Besharam, Roy and Bombay Velvet failed to grab eyeballs. But Katrina, 32, is certain that it is just a bad phase. “As an actor, I haven’t seen anyone more ­passionate and focused about his work. It is just a matter of time. Every actor goes through ups and downs. I am sure with his passion, dedication and God’s blessing, things will change,” she says.

Anurag Basu, the director of Jagga Jasoos, has a plan in place to promote his film. He is planning to come up with a TV show based on the characters of his film. This show will take a look at the younger selves of Ranbir and Katrina in Jagga Jasoos.

While Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon were seen in ‘Chal Wahan Jaate Hai’, Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor featured in ‘Dheere Dheere Revisited’. Latest reports suggest that Katrina Kaif has been approached to feature in a single.

A DNA report quoted a source saying, “It's a single from an earlier classic and will be a remix like ‘Dheere Dheere’ was. Ahmed approached Katrina and she appears to be very interested. She has said she will listen to the song and if she likes it she will do it.”

Well, we wonder if beau Ranbir Kapoor would be paired opposite her in the single.

Ranbir Kapoor 'Hurt' by Films Flopping, Says Katrina Kaif

Ranbir Kapoor's recent films may have failed to do well at the box office but his girlfriend, actress Katrina Kaif said that the "dedicated, passionate and focused" actor is sure to bounce back. 

Ranbir is going through a rough patch in his career as his last few films - Besharam, Roy andBombay Velvet failed to grab eyeballs. 

"His movies not doing well is a sad thing. But he gives his heart and soul for a film. I know it hurts and pains him deeply that maybe he is not able to live up to the expectations and satisfy his audience," Katrina told PTI. 

"He loves his audience. He wants people to love his films. He wants that acceptance from audience. So all this is hurtful to him," she said. 

The 32-year-old actress is hopeful that Ranbir will bounce back. 

"But as an actor, I haven't seen anyone more passionate and focused about his work. It is just a matter of time. Every actor goes through ups and downs. I am sure with his passion, dedication and God's blessing, things will change," she said. 

Talking about her recently-released film Phantom, Katrina said that she is happy with the audience's response. The actress is now excited for Nitya Mehra's film with Sidharth Malhotra, for which she has started shooting. The film titled Baar Baar Dekho is a love story, which happens over a period of time. 

"Nitya's film is an amazing love story. It is an idea that shocked me when I first heard it. I have not seen or heard a film like this in long time," she said. 

"Most of the love stories are of similar types, but this seemed new and exciting. There is lot of performance in it," she said. 

Sidharth had earlier revealed that they would use prosthetics for the film. Talking about it, Katrina said, "It (use of prosthetics look) is there for a small portion in a film. Like in Barfi!when they (Ranbir and Priyanka) are growing old and dying so you won't say it is a film using prosthetics." 

"It is used in a small portion in the film. There is a very small portion (growing old) that comes towards the end of the film," she said. 

Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions are collaborating with Eros International forBaar Baar Dekho and it marks Nitya's debut as director. It will release in 2016.

Katrina's upcoming films include Jagga Jasoos and Fitoor.

Kangana Ranaut is considered one of the most outspoken Bollywood actresses and apparently, she recently targeted some of her more popular contemporaries such as Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, for endorsing fairness creams.
In an interview to news channel France 24, Kangana revealed the reason behind not endorsing fairness creams and also said she is 'ashamed' of other Bollywood celebrities who endorse such products.
"It is very sad and I find it really humiliating cause we are a country of beautiful people. And women shouldn't be subjected to this kind of discrimination. It is sort of that they are being stripped off their confidence or self-worth by endorsement of such creams called fairness creams. I oppose it and I am very ashamed that many celebs propagate it and endorse it," said Kangana. While Deepika Padukone has endorsed Neutrogena fairness cream, Katrina Kaif became a popular face for L'Oreal skin whitening cream.

"It is painful to sit through something like that. But actors do that and many other models too. I feel we mustn't fall for such traps," the "Katti Batti" actress added.
The actress also criticised the way such advertisements show brown-skin girls being rejected by the society and how they then get everything they want after applying those fairness creams. Kangana is currently in Paris for the premiere of the movie "Queen".
Earlier, Kangana and Deepika were supposed to be having a cold war after the former stated that Deepika never congratulated her personally for the success of "Queen". The statement from Kangana came after Deepika dedicated the Best Actress Award for "Happy New Year" to Kangana for "Queen".
Although things were reportedly sorted after Deepika called up Kangana and cleared the misunderstanding, things apparently turned sour again after Deepika did not attend the special screening of "Tanu Weds Manu Returns".
"I did extend an invite (for TWMR screening) to Deepika, but I never got a response. I have always been supportive of my contemporaries and will continue to be, but it is hurtful when you don't get the same kind of support," DNA had quoted Kangana as saying.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to unite with the Kapoor khandaan in London

Both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are currently in the British capital. Ranbir, who begins filming his next in London, is likely to be stationed overseas (though not at a stretch) for at least a couple of months. 

Katrina is in UK because she is scheduled to start shooting her next with Sidharth Malhotra in Scotland. What's interesting is that before work gets to them, Kat and Ranbir may take a short break with the Kapoor khandaan that is there in full strength.

The khandaan, who were on a European cruise have reportedly stayed back to celebrate Rishi Kapoor's birthday that falls today.
