Is the rivalry between Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone over? Well if one of Kat’s interviews is anything to go by then it definitely seems that things are thawing between these two B-town competitors.
In an interview to a leading daily Katrina had said, “I am among the first people to say that if a person’s success — performance-wise or box office-based — has been acknowledged by a critic or audiences, he/she definitely deserves it. If a person is having four releases in a year and is doing well, she absolutely deserves to be lauded. I have gone through this. Earlier such talks — the number game — would happen vis-à-vis Kareena and me. Such a thing is temporary, and is based on the work you deliver, year after year. Sometimes your film may get delayed, sometimes it might not perform or someone else might perform better than you. That’s the industry rule.”
What was interesting was the fact that this is the first time Katrina had openly complimented Deepika in public. Post that we also had news that Deepika would love to attend Katrina-Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage ceremony whenever it happens. With all of this we were confused as to whether this patch up between the two is really there or is it just a veil of an age-old rivalry.
